The MLB The Show franchise returns on April 5, 2022 with a seventeenth opus. The game of San Diego Studio, edited by Sony Interactive Entertainment, will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch. For the second year in a row, Xbox versions will be available as soon as the game is released via the Game Pass.

This is a first for the series of baseball games. After arriving on Xbox with MLB The Show 21, the license opens new perspectives and therefore lands on Switch with MLB The Show 22. A multiplatform deployment does not so amazing since it was one of the main conditions of the Major Baseball League to extend its partnership with Sony.

This new opus will of course allow you to play career mode and make a name for you in the baseball league. You can also discover the online mode and measure yourself to players from all over the world. In the honor this year, the two-way player Shohei Ohtani, a featured player of the Angels of Los Angeles.
