Many months before its premiere, the fans theorized that the Joker of Joaquin Phoenix could appear at The Batman. Repeated occasions, Robert Pattinson herself denied all these rumors, although clear, They never believed him. Well, now it is Matt Reeves , director of this film, who has been commissioned to completely eliminate the possibilities of this crossover.

“I was finishing the Planet of the Apes movie when I aim to lead The Batman in 2017. I had been in development for five years. When he was working on the script, and he really entertains me, Joker had not even left yet. I did not know that this movie existed, much less how it was going to be. “
According to Reeves , when joker premiered, the script of The Batman was practically finished, so they had no reason to modify it in that advanced state just to include Joker of Phoenix . Of course, this does not mean that the batman of pattinson will not have its own version of the villain, only that we will have to wait longer to see it on the big screen.
